In this article I will attempt to summarize some of your possible choices.

One possibility for your needs would be the AirKing model 9856 white industrial indoor ceiling fan. This particular fan features a three speed 1/4 hp, 120 V, single phase, totally enclosed, ball bearing, permanently lubricated, permanent split capacitor motor. This fan comes with a three speed wall control switch in the 16 inch down rod for installation. This fan features a powder coated steel body and 3 56 inch blades.

Checking online pricing for this particular fan shows prices ranging from approximately $60-$65.

This fan is designed, according to the manufacturer, to cool in the summer and move stale air during the heating season. Global's fan features metal construction with steel paddles finished in white epoxy. This fan has a 115 V permanently sealed ball bearing motor and comes with 16 inch down rod and safety cables. This fan moves 46,000 ft.³ per minute of air and comes standard with a five year manufacturer's warranty.

I only found two suppliers online for the Global Industrial 60 ceiling fan and both of them list this model at approximately $100.

Last if you're looking for an industrial ceiling fan that can provide both heat and cooling then the Emerson HF 956B might be just the answer for you. This model from Emerson is a 56 inch industrial ceiling fan that not only cools but it's also a ceiling fan heater. 

As you might expect this fan is somewhat more expensive than the others that I've mentioned and it retails online for approximately $180.

One final fan for your consideration would be an industrial ceiling fan from Northwest Envirofan. This company also manufactures a ceiling fan heater.

On their website they explain that the effectiveness of an entire fan system for winter heating is based on the concept of the stratification which is simply that cold air will drop to the floor while the lighter warmer air is going to rise to the ceiling. According to their site, the air temperature can increase about three fourths of a degree per foot from floor level to the ceiling.

This company states that their fans equalize room temperature by pushing down the warm air from the ceiling and mixing that wasted ceiling heat with cooler air starting at the floor level. This is particularly useful in a high ceiling area such as a warehouse. Again according to their website statistics from the utility industry show that your savings in overall heating cost can be as much as 30%. This makes a significant reason to invest in a ceiling fan heater such as this company provides.

As you can see there's a broad range of choices for industrial ceiling fans on the market. If you're shopping for one of these fans all that is really left for you to do is look around and decide which model is going to best suit your particular environment. I'm certain that no matter which fan you choose, you'll be pleased with your choice and the benefits it brings to your industrial environment.

One of the first major manufacturers that I ran across is Hunter ceiling fans.  They have more than one model of ceiling fan with remote.

Hunter – The Royal Oak

One of their models is called The Royal Oak.  The Hunter Royal Oak is a 60" model.  The model I looked at was the new bronze finish with dark cherry blades.  Hunter uses a motor that they call the AirMax motor and the fan is Energy star certified.  The large motor it comes with is designed for maximum air movement throughout the room.

This particular ceiling fan consumes 0.7 amps of power on the high speed setting, has three speeds, 5 blades, and moves 1493 cubic feet per minute of air on the low setting.  On the high setting, it moves 6940 cubic feet per minute.

Hunter's site says that this model uses 88 watts of energy (excluding lights), and at 6940 cubic feet per minute of air flow, it moves 84 cubic feet per minute per watt.

Two things worth noting on this ceiling fan are that it features Hunter's Wobble Free Canopy and, of course since you're looking for a ceiling fan with remote, the remote control for the fan is included as a standard item.

Hunter – The Palomar

Another Hunter ceiling fan with remote is the Palomar model.  The Palomar model I reviewed featured an Amber Bronze finish with Cherry Carved Wood Banana Leaf blades on it.  This is  a very nice looking ceiling fan. 

This ceiling fan features a 120 watt bowl light kit that takes three bulbs.   This model features the same wobble free canopy as the Royal Oak does and has a high performance motor.

On the high setting, this fan moves 6946 CFM of air while consuming 88 watts of power to do so.  Overall air flow ratings are 1518 CFM, 3626 CFM, and 6946 CFM on the low, medium, and high settings respectively.

This fan, of course, also includes the remote control and has a limited lifetime warranty from Hunter.

Hunter – The Grand Isle

The Grand Isle model is another Hunter ceiling fan with remote.  Like the previous two models, this model includes the remote control as a standard item.

This is a 52" fan and uses Hunter's powerful WhisperWind motor.  It includes the light fixture, which takes 4 bulbs, and has 5 blades.

Hunters site says that this model moves 1594 CFM, 3630 CFM, and 5965 CFM of air on the low, medium, and high settings respectively.

At the high setting, it moves 69 cubic feet per minute of air per watt of power.

By the way, if you don't want the light kit for some particular reason, you can install the fan without the light kit.

As with the previous fans I mentioned, this model comes with the remote control and also has the limited lifetime warranty from Hunter.

Hunter is just one of many different manufacturers of ceiling fans with remote control. 

Later, I will examine some of the offerings from other manufacturers of ceiling fans.

You need good, valuable information about ceiling fan heaters so you will be able to make an informed decision about these products.  Before you buy one, you obviously want to make sure you're making the right decision.

One primary reason that people consider purchasing a ceiling fan with heater is because they are interested in saving money on the heating costs for their home.  What you will find out here is that these ceiling fans are very energy efficient and can definitely help lower your heating costs.

The brushed nickel model also has the integrated light kit, with bulb included, two mounting options, reversible, and the same power and BTU specifications.  It also weighs 35 pounds.

The blades for this fan can be attached to show either a black finish or a cherry finish, depending on your preference.

Again, this ceiling fan heater features the computer controlled remote control for your convenience.

Reiker Room Conditioner – Textured White Finish Specifications

Once again, the ratings on the textured white finish ceiling fan heater are the same as on the first two fans that I described.  All features for this fan, including the remote, are the same.  This is a 54" fan.

Reiker Ceiling Fan With Heater – Swiss Gold Finish Specifications

The final model is actually my personal favorite and that is the swiss gold finish.

This Reiker room conditioner is the same as the others and is a 54" fan with the same specifications.  The only real difference is the finish. With this model, you can mount the blades to show either a swiss gold finish or a white finish.  This, of course, is your option when you assemble the fan.

Installation of the fan

If you've ever installed a standard ceiling fan, you definitely won't have any problems installing this one.

Reiker's ceiling fan heaters come with an excellent instruction manual to help you along. Wiring for this fan is no different than any other ceiling fan that you might have installed in the past.  If you already have wiring in place for a ceiling fan, you're in business.  It uses the standard 3 wire connection that you're used to seeing.

All the hardware that you might need is included with the fan.  You can choose to either mount the fan flush to the ceiling or you can use the included 4 inch, or 6 inch, downrods.  If you need a longer downrod, 12 inch, 18 inch, and 24 inch downrods are also available but not included with the fans.
